Doing research with communities also means giving back to them. That’s the whole purpose of this restitution work carried out by the Malakit/CUREMA projects with people working in artisanal gold mining.
Objective: share the research results in an accessible format, directly useful to the people concerned.
7 video capsules in Portuguese (1min30 each), co-created with health mediators Ronnie, Camila and Jonalide.
Creation workshop: April 15-16, 2026, Oiapoque.
A participatory process from start to finish: messages co-built with health professionals and mediators, then tested directly with the community — life stories, spontaneous discussions, immediate identification with the messages. Very positive feedback, which then guided the filming and distribution.
Distribution: TikTok, WhatsApp, Malakit website.
